If so, we want you to join our growing Business Analytics team at Quantech Services, Inc.\nOverview / Customer Profile\nSeeking energetic professionals with expertise in cost, statistical, economic, and/or quantitative analysis to support Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs within the United States Air Force (USAF) and United States Space Force (USSF).\nOur clients require analytical support for a wide range of systems including aircraft, radars, IT, agile DevSecOps, cyber, and ISR missions. We support a number of DoD Software Factories implementing agile development frameworks, bringing together disparate systems from multiple services and common development platforms for weapon systems with common tools and continuous authority to operate. This is an opportunity to develop skills in cost, schedule, and risk analysis while contributing to the successful development of cutting-edge modern weapon systems.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nCollaborate with a team of Quantech cost analysts and subject matter experts on a variety of projects.\nDevelop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs.\nAnalyze historical data and develop analogies and cost estimating relationships using regression analysis.\nUnderstand technology trends and analyze the impact on cost.\nAnalyze software program progress tracking tools (JIRA, Microsoft TFS, etc.) and develop metrics and insights for program managers.\nInterview functional specialists in support of estimating methodology development.\nDevelop risk distributions for cost driver variables and cost estimating relationship equations.\nAnalyze program schedules and quantify schedule uncertainty.\nStudy, analyze, and develop metrics for complex modern software development programs.\nBuild complex spreadsheet-based program cost models used as decision analysis tools.\nApply statistics concepts to quantify the probability of success for program budget and schedule plans.\nConduct business case analyses, trade studies, and economic analyses.\nAssist program managers in development and execution of contract strategies and program plans.\nCandidate Strengths\nProficient in analyzing datasets and developing statistical models, but also able to tackle problems by thinking outside of the box.\nTechnical fast learner with the ability to communicate with multiple functional teams to gather programmatic and technical data and translate it into cost impacts for the government.\nExperienced problem solver, comfortable working in ambiguous environments with the ability to lead financially focused conversations with cross-functional teams.\nApproachable team player with the skillset to successfully work a variety of projects and take direction from multiple sources at once.\nSalary information is a general guide only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations.\nSalary range: 90k-92k\nJob Requirements\nRequirements\nActive Secret clearance required: Top Secret a plus.\nThree to five years of DoD or USG cost analysis experience or relevant experience in quantitative analysis positions such as economic analysis, analytics, statistics, or regression.\nEducation\nMust have a BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, plus 3 semester hours of Calculus or Statistics.\nTypical degrees: Math, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.\nWork, Physical, and Mental Requirements\nPlease see standard Work, Physical, and Mental Requirements for all Quantech roles.\nWork Environment\nThis job operates in a professional office environment.
