In this role, you will support RF Engineers in the design, build, and test of new RF apertures and concepts.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist RF Engineers in designing, building, and testing\nProvide input for design reviews, proposals, specifications and work standards\nDevelop, build procedures, processes and training to help transition newly developed products into production\nMachining and mechanical skills to build and test prototypes\nUnderstanding of the principles of high-speed digital design and RF circuit design\nRequired Education and Experience\nMust have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance\nAssociate’s degree in Electronics and Computer Technology or equivalent\nMechanical and machining skills to build\nRF equipment knowledge to test prototypes\nProven ability to independently bring up new designs, including the ability to lead others in the bring-up of new designs\nExperience with hot-air guns, reflow ovens, and solder stencils\nAbility for light mechanical assembly with common hand tools\nStrong communication skills, ability to solve problems and work effectively within deadlines\nOther Duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee will also regularly be seated at a desk and using a computer.
