We have been in business since 1955 and have grown to become one of the largest regional suppliers of building and agricultural products in the United States. We are currently seeking an experienced Class B Driver for our Vallejo facility.\n\nThe Class B Driver is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service.\n\nDelivers merchandise to customer.\nCounts and checks the condition of all outgoing products loaded on the truck.\nContacts customer to ensure delivery instructions are accurate.\nDelivers orders undamaged to the correct jobsite and assisting in unloading if necessary, attending to proper un/loading sequence.\nMakes sure loads are properly secured and flagged if necessary.\nUpon delivery, offers a friendly greeting, smile, and eye contact with customers.\nAssists in the building of load including staging materials and loading trucks as needed including the use of a forklift.\nEnsures that the correct material is delivered.\nTakes a photo of the delivery and/or obtains customer signature if available.\nProvides receipt of delivery to customer.\nRequirements:\nCommercial Driver’s license required\n2 years of flatbed (strapping down) experience required\nFamiliarity with truck routes\nMust be at least 25 years of age\n2 years of verifiable Class B driving experience required\nForklift experience required\nExperience driving manual transmission trucks required\n1 point or less on driving record\n\n PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nSitting: 6-8+ hours per day\nWalking: 3-6 hours per day\nStanding: 3-6 hours per day\nBending/Twisting: 3-6 hours per day\nSquatting/Stooping: 3-6 hours per day\nClimbing: Up to 3 hours per day\nKneeling Crawling: Up to 3 hours per day\nPushing/Pulling: Up to 3 hours per day\nHand Dexterity: 6-8+ hours per day\nLifting 0-25 lbs.: Up to 3 hours per day\nLifting 26-60 lbs.: Up to 3 hours per day\nCarrying 0-25 lbs.: Up to 3 hours per day\nCarrying 26-60 lbs.: Up to 3 hours per day\n\nCentral Valley is an equal opportunity employer.
