{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9b40547b1bfb85be1bc21837","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9b40547b1bfb85be1bc21837","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9b40547b1bfb85be1bc21837","title":"Database Engineer 2","description":"What Impact You'll Have\n\nGRVTY is seeking experiences Data Engineers to help develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.\n\nWhat You'll be Owning\n\nProvide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.\nDevelop or maintain database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.\nCreate new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.\nLead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.\nSupport the development and test of various Python based ReST end points, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks to interact with data models such as mariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and send data upon request, in JSON format, to UI front ends.\nDatabase experience using MongoDB, Including:\nDeployment and management of database itself\nDebugging of optimization issues\nScaling\n\nWhat You Must Have\n\n5 years of experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.\n5 years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.\n\nWhat Would be Nice to Have\n\nPython, Django or Flask\nReST Endpoint Development\nMicro-Service Model\nSwagger\nAWS,CS2 or other cloud experience\nDocker\nVisual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization\nJira, Confluence\nGit version control\nExperience working in Agile environment\n\nPay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.We're proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
