Massage Therapist

Job Description Our multidisciplinary, wellness office is in search of additional massage therapists to join our team. We are hoping to find someone that is open-minded in treatment options, and open to co-treat patients with the different professionals we have in the same office. Our office is in the South Loop of Chicago, and the majority of our patients are young professionals eager to “get well.” Some of our patients are nervous about complementary medicine, so it is very important our team members are comfortable in explaining the benefits in each type of therapy. Most importantly, we need to properly explain and suggest different therapies that can be utilized if chiropractic is not the appropriate option. Our office is split into two shifts, AM (8am – 2pm) or PM (2pm – 7pm). Ideally, the candidate would work at least three shifts. Key Requirements Completion of the massage therapist program Ability to properly document patient treatment (SOAP notes) Current state of Illinois professional license Current and active malpractice insurance Supplemental Skills (desirable, but not a requirement) Ability to work with pre- and post-natal patients Previous work experience in a clinic setting Compensation Hourly rate or commission, whichever is greater. Commission rate is competitive.
