This role will take ownership of key development projects and workstreams, partnering with clients, consultants, and internal teams to help move complex renewable energy projects from development through execution.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nManage and support the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage development through project readiness.\nTake ownership of assigned project workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and action items.\nCoordinate with clients, consultants, landowners, agencies, utilities, and other project stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.\nSupport key areas of renewable energy development, including permitting, site control, site identification, interconnection, due diligence, and project planning.\nManage third-party consultants and vendors, including scopes of work, schedules, deliverables, and overall performance.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, identify risks, and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.\nReview technical and project documentation and help identify potential issues, gaps, and opportunities.\nCoordinate information across multiple disciplines and workstreams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.\nParticipate in client meetings and serve as a reliable point of contact for assigned projects and workstreams.\nPrepare project updates, reports, presentations, and other materials for clients and internal leadership.\nHelp identify and resolve project issues through thoughtful analysis, organization, and proactive communication.\nManage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.\nContribute to the continued development of EPS's Development Services capabilities, processes, and client relationships.\nWho You Are\n2-5 years of experience in renewable energy development, project management, consulting, engineering, or a related field. We are flexible on experience for the right candidate.\nExperience supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, battery energy storage, wind, or other large-scale energy infrastructure.\nWorking knowledge of one or more areas of project development such as permitting, site control, site identification, interconnection, due diligence, environmental review, or development project management.\nExperience working with consultants, developers, utilities, agencies, or other external project stakeholders.\nAbility to manage schedules, deliverables, competing priorities, and multiple workstreams with limited oversight.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nComfortable taking ownership of projects and workstreams and seeing them through to completion.\nStrong business judgment and the ability to recognize when an issue needs to be elevated or addressed.\nExperience working for a consulting, engineering, development-services, or similar professional services organization is preferred.\nExperience with New Mexico renewable energy development is preferred, but not required.\nBachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, construction management, planning, or a related field is preferred.\nWhy AKS?\n\nAt AKS, we believe your work should support your life, not the other way around.
