Engagement Manager / Client Partner
We are hiring a Engagement Manager / Client Partner from an IT services/consulting background who has owned end-to-end delivery of client engagements and driven account growth.This role requires direct experience managing client-funded consulting engagements, driving upsell/cross-sell, and owning account outcomes, with a strong focus on external client delivery in a consulting environment.Title : Engagement Manager / Client PartnerLocation : NYC , NYEmployment Type: Full-timeNo of Openings: 2Key Responsibilities:Project Management (60%) – Hands-on DeliveryLead end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for multiple projects simultaneously.Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (internal delivery, technical, creative, or operations) to ensure high-quality deliverables.Track project progress using tools like Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar; manage scope changes, issues, and escalations effectively.Monitor budgets, timelines, and KPIs; conduct regular status reporting to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with quality standards, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), and best practices.Identify and mitigate risks proactively while resolving blockers to keep projects on track.Account Management & Growth (40%)Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships.Understand client business goals, needs, and challenges; act as their advocate internally.Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, propose new projects or expansions, and contribute to revenue growth within accounts.Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs), gather feedback, and drive client satisfaction and retention.Support business development by preparing proposals, scopes of work, and presentations for additional work or renewals.Collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams on expansion opportunities while ensuring seamless handover and delivery.Monitor account health, profitability, and performance metrics; flag potential risks early.Qualifications & Skills:8+ years of experience in Project/Program Management within IT services and consulting environment.Proven track record of managing end-to-end project delivery across multiple projects or programsProven experience managing client-funded (billable) delivery programs/Projects not Internal.
