After-school Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Overview: Royal Flex Gymnastics (RFG) is a children sports recreation company. We are seeking talented gymnast with experience coaching children 5-13 years old, at all skill levels. Please note: This is a part-time position that follows the school schedule. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Hebrew Language Academy Charter School 2 (HLA2) located at 2286 Cropsey Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11214. Responsibilities (include but not limited to): - Must be punctual and reliable! - Instruct gymnastics classes for various age groups and skill levels - Develop lesson plans that align with the gymnastics curriculum - Provide individualized coaching to students to improve their techniques - Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all participants - Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback for improvement - Collaborate with other coaches to plan and coordinate team activities and show routines Qualifications: - Experience working with children ages 5-13, in a coaching or teaching capacity - Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skill levels, equipment, and safety protocols - Ability to educate and motivate students to achieve their goals - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff - Additional skills such as dance and yoga are a plus ** Must be able to demonstrate beginner-intermediate skills such as: Cartwheel, Handstand, Round-off, Front/back walk over, Front/Back handspring etc... Advanced skills a plus!
