Medical Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign measurements and record patient information accurately
- Assist healthcare providers in various medical procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication usage
- Support physicians in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a medical setting, preferably in a Level II Trauma Center
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and documenting medical histories
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to administer medications and perform basic clinical procedures
- Familiarity with dermatology, hospital medicine, and geriatric care is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
