The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our facility in Melbourne, FL with occasional overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, VA and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:\n\nThe selected candidate will design, develop, modify, integrate, and evaluate software for signals intelligence, radar, and communications systems. You will be instrumental in the migration and integration of systems requiring obsolescence management. Duties will include all aspects of software and systems engineering, including requirements analysis and specification, software design, implementation and integration, testing, and installation.\n\nBasic Requirements\nUS citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement\nAbility to obtain SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance, due to contract requirement\nBS degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, or equivalent\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in system level testing, network engineering, cybersecurity, or IT efforts.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nTS/SCI Clearance\n10 or more years’ experience in in system level testing, network engineering, cybersecurity, or IT efforts.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills\nMS degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, or equivalent\nAbility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with changing requirements.\nExperience testing user authentication and authorization applications such as Keycloak, LDAP, Active Directory and PKI certificates\nExperience migrating legacy software baselines to new infrastructure including OS upgrades\nExperience with ESXi 6 and 7, VirtualBox, VMware Player, Vagrant, HashiCorp Packer, Ansible\nDeveloping and integrating custom Ansible roles and collections\nUnderstanding the workflows and tools available to build custom Vagrant boxes\nFamiliarity with git, JIRA, bitbucket, confluence, and Jenkins.\nPodman/docker containers, Kubernetes, etc.\n\nSummit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
