On-site, no remote - Rotating am and pm shifts, days off rotate If on-siteKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage electrical distribution system operations.Coordinate service restoration and switching activities during outages and emergencies.Maintain situational awareness of system conditions and customer impacts.Communicate outage status, restoration efforts, and critical system events to management and stakeholders.Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and system records.Support emergency response efforts, storm restoration activities, and after-hours operations.Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Complete required training and certification programs related to distribution switching operations.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Minimum 1 year of experience in dispatching, emergency services, operations coordination, complex database management, customer service, or a related field.Understanding of electrical distribution systems and utility operations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with computer systems and business applications.Ability to work independently while making sound operational decisions.Strong multitasking, prioritization, and leadership capabilities.Work Environment24/7 shift-based operations environment.Requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and storm restoration assignments.Fast-paced operational setting requiring quick decision-making and effective communication during system emergencies.
