In this role, you’ll play a critical part in the final preparation of precision aerospace components by removing imperfections and ensuring all parts meet rigorous quality standards.\r\nUnder general supervision working from blueprints, sketches, verbal and/or written specifications, operates and adjusts manual or numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequence of operations.\r\nAdditional job duties are as follows:\r\nSets up manual machines where speeds, feeds and sequences of tooling operations are ordinarily prescribed\r\nOperates numerically controlled machines where programs are approved and setups are made and maintained by others.\r\nRemoves burrs and rough edges from machine component parts using a variety of hand operations, such as; filing, deburring and performing polishing operations.\r\nRemoves scratches, burrs and tool marks from parts, using microscope or magnifier.\r\nUses standard shop measuring devices.\r\nSharpens drill tools on grinding wheel as necessary.\r\nOperates automatic welding equipment.\r\nMoves parts and materials to and from work area.\r\nMaintains good housekeeping in work area.\r\nPerform other duties as directed by supervision.\r\nQualifications\r\nMinimum4 years of experiencein a general machine shop environment\r\nSkilled in deburring and hand-finishing aerospace or high-precision components\r\nFamiliarity with using microscopes or magnifying equipment for detailed work\r\nAble to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings\r\nExperience operating manual shop tools and measuring devices\r\nStrong eye for detail and commitment to quality\r\nDependable, safety-conscious, and team-orientedSalary Range:$29.56 To $33.62 HourlyWhy Join Valcor?\r\n✅ Competitive pay & benefits package\r\n✅ Work with cutting-edge aerospace technology\r\n✅ Collaborative, clean, and safety-first work environment\r\n✅ Long-standing company with stability and growth opportunities\r\n✅ Convenient location:2 Lawrence Road, Springfield, NJ 07081Job location is at2 Lawrence Road, Springfield, NJ 07081Please note: The salary range is based on our market pay structure.
