This is a travel role within the Department of Sterile and Materials Processing, where you will assist in the decontamination, high-level disinfection, assembling, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, trays, and pans to various operating rooms and clinics. Operate steam sterilizers, ensuring proper time, pressure, and temperature levels. Decontaminate surgical instruments following established procedures. Receive and store supplies from outside vendors and hospital areas, checking stock against requisitions. Perform quality assurance on sterile supplies, ensuring sterility dates and procedure cart accuracy.
