Laboratory Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate has earned a bachelors degree in chemistry or biology. Four years of college chemistry required. Additional courses in physical and analytical chemistry are beneficial. Job assignments are ideal for learning automated water analyses using discrete analyzers, total organic carbon analyzers, ICP-MS and OES metals analyzers, gas chromatographs with MS detectors, and liquid ion chromatographs
Duties
Conduct laboratory tests and analyses using established techniques.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Ensure compliance with FDEP and NELAP standards during all testing activities.
Perform routine quality control assessments to verify the integrity of samples and reagents.
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols.
Assist in method validation, calibration of equipment, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to improve laboratory procedures and ensure consistent quality standards.

Pay: $23.03 - $27.74 per hour
