Ability to move flat material sizes up to 50\" x 80\" is a must\nCreate and process printing plates using digital or manual imaging methods according to job specifications.\nUse specialized equipment such as imagesetters, plate processors, and exposure units to produce high-quality plates.\nCheck for defects, registration accuracy, and image clarity before releasing plates for pressroom use.\nUnderstand customer requirements, layouts, and specifications provided on work orders or job tickets.\nManage raw plate materials, chemicals, and supplies, ensuring proper storage and minimal waste.\nPerform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of plate-making machinery to ensure consistent output.\nDocument plate specifications, production times, and maintenance logs for quality control and tracking.\nCommunicate with prepress operators and pressroom staff to ensure seamless production workflows and resolve issues.\nUse PPE, handle chemicals safely, and adhere to company and regulatory safety protocols.\nManage time efficiently to meet production deadlines and minimize press downtime.\nInspect plates for adherence to quality standards and customer specifications\nPrepare packages for shipping while attending to special customer requirements  \nComplete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc\nHandle multiple jobs in various production stages\nAdhere to quality control procedures\nAbility to multitask and work in deadline orientated environment\nVisual acuity to written material and plate detail\nThe use of ordinary hand tools, and a strong understanding of various measuring tools and the physical ability to lift is essential, as is a dedication to quality \n\nRequirements\n\nExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.\nExperience and understanding of the flexo plate making process preferred\nPrior experience in a printing environment is beneficial\nMaintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail is required\nExceptional time management and organization skills.
