This is your chance to contribute to a team that values precision, collaboration, and excellence.\nAvailable Modalities\nDiagnostic Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)\nComputed Tomography (CT) Technologist\nMagnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist\nSonographer / Ultrasound Technologist\nOpenings vary by location and modality.\nLocations\nSan Francisco VA Medical Center – 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA\nEureka VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic – Eureka, CA\nSanta Rosa VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic – Santa Rosa, CA\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in assigned modalities following VA, ARRT, and Joint Commission standards.\nPrepare, position, and assess patients to ensure safe, accurate, and comfortable exams.\nOperate imaging equipment per manufacturer specifications and VA-approved protocols (experience with GE systems preferred).\nFollow radiation safety, infection control, and modality-specific safety requirements.\nVerify image quality and completeness before submission for Radiologist review.\nDocument exams, patient interactions, and technical data in VA electronic health records and PACS systems (Philips IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred).\nMaintain clean, safe, and fully prepared imaging rooms and equipment.\nCollaborate with Radiologists, providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.\nSupport imaging coverage during high-volume periods, emergent requests, on-call coverage, and staffing shortages.\nCommunicate urgent findings to Radiologists as needed.\nMinimum Qualifications\nCompletion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).\nCurrent ARRT certification in Radiography; additional ARRT or ARDMS certification required for specialty modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound).\nFull, current, and unrestricted California state license.\nMinimum 3 years of post-training experience performing independent imaging procedures in a hospital or medical center.\nProficiency with PACS, DICOM, and electronic medical record systems.\nFluent in English (read, write, and speak).\nMust meet all VA credentialing, onboarding, privacy, and annual training requirements.\nAdditional Requirements\nPersonnel qualifications subject to VA Chief Radiology Administrator review and approval.\nCompliance with all VA imaging standards, radiology protocols, safety policies, and infection control procedures.\nMaintain required CME/CEU credits to remain current.\nAbout Emerging Tech\nEmerging Tech is a leading government contractor specializing in healthcare staffing and clinical support services nationwide.
