This associate needs to be detailed oriented, great work ethic, self-directed, and capable of hitting the ground running.\n\nTo help drive excellence in the quality department, this individual will:\nBe responsible for ensuring products produced meeting customer quality standards\nIdentify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions for product quality issues\nLead, develop, and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention in a team environment\nTrain and support groups of shop floor associates with quality assurance\n\nThis position would be on a day shift and perform some of the following tasks:\nFocus on PPAP document packages\nConstruction of Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flows, gage MSAs\nInspection Instruction Worksheets (forms that are used on the production floor by inspectors and operators to guide them on how and what inspections to complete)\nTraining Quality Inspectors\nSetting up part folders,\nPSWes (problem solving with every step)\nassembling the entire PDF document with ADOBE document merger\nAny other sidebar projects\n\nRequired experience of the Quality Engineer:\nBachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nPrefer at least 7 years' experience as a Senior level QE, preferably in a metal's environment or equivalent experience\nProven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills\n\nA successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.\n\nBy applying for this role, you confirm that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
