Assistant Manager - Part Time Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and professional part-time assistant manager to join our team. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations and will require availability for 3-4 nights a week, with occasional brunch shifts. The assistant manager will be responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. This positions will also serve as the face of our restaurant's greeting and host stand during dinner service. In this role, you will be responsible for: Managing the host stand schedule, including coordinating shift coverage and seating guests. Serving as the primary point of contact for guests at the host stand Assist the Director of Operations in overseeing daily restaurant activities and staff management. Assist in closing duties as needed and helping servers with voids and problem solving during service as needed. Help train, supervise, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally. Assist in managing inventory and help the Operations Director organize and order supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of restaurant operations. Assisting with any other tasks as needed to support the organization's leadership Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in an Assistant, MOD or host role in the restaurant industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Customer service-oriented mindset Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends If you are a detail-oriented, adaptable, and service-minded individual who is excited about this opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
