This position is focused primarily on the use of microbial fermentation as it relates to novel protein production. Repligen manufactures and sells both broad range and customer specific affinity chromatography resins. This position will support ligand development activities allowing the co-op to gain hands-on experience in techniques such as molecular biology, microbial cell culture, operation of fed-batch fermentation reactors, and protein quality assessment. The co-op will learn and perform assays including SDS-PAGE, metabolite analysis, UV-Vis spectroscopy, High Performance Liquid Chromatography, and mass spectrometry. The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $24/Hr. $28/Hr.. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
