Project Architect

Title: Project ArchitectDuration: FTELocation: Phoenix, AZOverviewOur client, a dynamic engineering and design firm, is seeking a Project Architect with a minimum of eight years of experience to support building design from concept through construction. This role is responsible for preparing building designs, presentations, permit and construction documents, and supporting construction administration. The Project Architect will coordinate multi disciplinary design teams, work with consultants and clients, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes. The ideal candidate is a licensed Arizona Architect, proficient in Revit, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This position is located in Phoenix, AZ.ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with a close-knit team where individual contributions are highly valuedPrepare effective building designs and high-quality presentation materialsCoordinate with a multi discipline design team, including designers and engineers, to develop plans and construction documents for a wide range of projectsProduce building renderings, space planning layouts, and design documentationPerform code reviews and building envelope reviewsComplete drafting and detailing tasks using industry standard softwareSupport permit processing and construction administration activitiesWith demonstrated experience, work directly with clients and take on expanded responsibilities within the firmParticipate in company culture initiatives, including employee celebrations, volunteer opportunities, team building activities, and social eventsRequirementsLicensed, registered Architect in the state of ArizonaBachelor’s degree in architecture or related fieldArchitectural degree with active licensureMinimum of 8 years of relevant experience preparing building construction documents, permits, and construction administrationExperience coordinating with consultants and clientsReside in or near the Phoenix, AZ areaAbility to prioritize and successfully manage multiple assignments across multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong working knowledge of building codes and standards, including IBC, IECC/ASHRAE, and NFPAProficiency in Revit and familiarity with AutoCADDegree from a NAAB accredited program preferredExperience with 3D modeling and rendering tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Illustrator, or similar applications preferredExtensive experience with industrial building designFriendly and outgoing personality
