These roles ensure clinical-grade cleanliness across patient care and administrative spaces while supporting a healthy and positive experience for staff, patients, and visitors.Custodian II serves as an advanced-level role, demonstrating greater independence, technical knowledge, and the ability to support and mentor team members.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout offices, clinics, conference rooms, restrooms, and public areasSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and remove trash and recycling throughout assigned locationsEnsure entryways, sidewalks, and common spaces remain clean, safe, and welcomingMonitor public areas and respond to ongoing cleaning and sanitation needs throughout the daySafely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment according to established proceduresMaintain custodial supplies and ensure storage areas are organized and stockedSupport multiple work sites as needed throughout the workdayProvide courteous customer service and assistance to staff, patients, and visitors Additional Custodian II ResponsibilitiesWork independently with limited supervisionDemonstrate advanced knowledge of cleaning techniques and productsPerform high-level sanitization and disinfection dutiesProvide guidance and mentorship to Custodian I team membersQualificationsCustodian I:High school diploma or GED requiredCustodian IIHigh school diploma or GED requiredOne year of custodial training or equivalent experience preferredBoth RolesValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record requiredAbility to safely lift and move up to 50 poundsStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyReliable, professional, and customer-service orientedBasic computer skills preferredWork ScheduleKANA’s standard work schedule is 37.5 working hours per week, consisting of 7.5 paid working hours per day plus a one-hour unpaid lunch break (8.5 hours on site per day).Our ValuesKANA’s work is guided by Courtesy, Caring, Respect, Sharing, and Pride.
