Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad.\n\nSaber Power Services seeks a motivated and safety-conscious Electrical Apprentice. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of high voltage systems under the supervision of experienced Journeymen and Foremen. This apprenticeship offers hands-on training, mentorship, and a pathway toward becoming an Electrician or Lineman.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nAssistin the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground high voltage power lines and equipment (typically 69kV – 500kV)\nOperate hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner\nPrepare materials, tools, and equipment at job sites\nSupportconstructioncrews with site setup, traffic control, and equipment operation\nLearn and follow all company safety protocols, procedures, and utility regulations\nAttend and complete all required safety and technical training\nPerform physical labor such as digging trenches, lifting materials, and climbing poles or towers (with proper supervision and training)\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, equipment, and job sites\nAccurately complete job documentation and reports as directed\nPerform other job-related duties as requested by management.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED (required)\nEnrolled, or willing to enroll, in a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program\nValid driver’s license with clean driving recordrequired(CDL preferred or ability to obtain)\nBasic knowledge of hand tools and electrical components\nPreviousconstruction or electrical experience is aplus,but notrequired\nWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain\nAbility to travel and work overtime oron-callas needed\nStrong workethics, punctuality, and willingness to learn\nPhysically able to lift 50+lbs., climb structures, and perform manual labor Skills:\nStrong commitment to safety\nTeam player with a positive attitude\n\nSafety is a Core Value with our organization.
