Remote but there may be some travel to the Innovation Labs in Franklin and Smyrna TN for testing. Local candidates to Nashville only. 40 hours/week. No overtime. Minimum 6 months assignment, might be extended. Teams/In-person interview The project will involve both application (on prem) development (C#) and driver level development (C++). This is not a cloud-based digital offer. This is mission-critical, performance dependent software for use with critical infrastructure. The roles will be very broad, encompassing everything from the software development (including some design), some testing and documentation. Projects in our Innovation Lab work like a “start-up” – in other words, everyone pitches in to get all the collateral delivered. This is a fast-paced (short time frame) project to initially deliver a proof-of-concept for limited release. Upon project success, this project could be renewed for full productization. The software developers would be working on a team with architects located in Nashville, TN and additional development resources located in the APAC time zone. 100% Software development (for PC Server/workstation) – not cloud / hosted development. This is for an innovation project where they will be working with a combination of SCADA systems and firewalls to create a solution to protect critical infrastructure. This is not a UI intensive project. The UI will only be for configuration of the software and may be minimal. Additional UI will come at a later stage.
