Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during busy service times to support smooth restaurant operations. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing ingredients and assisting with basic cooking or plating. Handle food handling responsibilities in accordance with safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene. Aid in setting up banquet or catering events by preparing serving stations and ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready. Follow proper procedures for waste disposal, recycling, and maintaining a tidy work environment at all times. Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering or banquet settings is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and front-of-house teams. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Prior experience in culinary or hospitality roles that involve cleaning, bussing, or food preparation is a plus.
