The Receptionist/Program Assistant (Program Assistant II) provides support services for a variety of program and Agency activities. We provide comprehensive housing, counseling, and educational services, fostering stability and resilience.\nRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:\nDirect Duties:\nProvide front desk coverage for the administrative office, including greeting guests, answering the phone, and managing faxes (responding to a variety of needs in a timely, friendly, and helpful manner)\nAssist youth who have come in for therapy sessions\nPerform general clerical duties, such as, copying, typing, proofreading\nmailing, and filing for administrative and program personnel\nAssist with organizing meetings and trainings\nMiscellaneous clerical and support functions\nOther duties and responsibilities as identified\nMINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nTwo years of experience providing support services for management or working with the public, using a customer service approach.\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nGracious, tolerant, and helpful attitude\nProfessional demeanor, boundaries, and approach to all persons and all • tasks\nExcellent communication skills, including command of written, oral and' business English\nAbility to relate well to the general public and with sensitivity to our youth\nExpertise in the full array of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Excel\nAttention to detail and proofreading skills\nKnowledge of standard office procedures, practices, and equipment\nQuality focused approach to all work\nFlexibility and adaptability\nAbility to work with minimum supervision and to prioritize tasks and assignments\nNETWORK FUNCTIONS:\nMaintain and abides by OSHA requirements and guidelines\nObserves all Fire and Safety Policies and Procedures\nObserves all Personnel Policies and Procedures\nObserves all Agency's Policies and Procedures\nObserves all HIPAA Policies and Procedures and maintains confidentiality\nCompletes and returns all paperwork distributed by the Human Resource Department\nAttends all required and scheduled trainings and meetings\nAlways maintain a professional demeanor and exercise good professional judgment in all areas of employment duties\nDocuments time worked accurately\nEQUIPMENT/MACHINES:\nCurrent driver's license, vehicle registration and vehicle insurance\nVehicle / wheelchair lifts\nAdaptive Equipment\nBusiness use of company equipment to include telephone, cellular telephone, and home appliances and furnishing\nComputer systems (current HRIS, SETWORKS, Microsoft Office programs)\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nMobility and ability to bend and reach during an eight-hour day.\nAble to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.\nAble to sit approximately 2-3 hours per shift\nStand or work 6-8 hours per shift.\nDrive a company van 1-4 hours per shift.\nHas visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate and treat a client needs.\nFine motor skills and legible and accurate writing of reports, daily correspondence\nAbility to work up to 8 hours/daily.\nPersons with mental or physical disabilities are eligible if they can perform the essential functions of the job after reasonable accommodation is made to their known limitations.
