This hands-on program inspires well being through fun, exploration, movement, environmental education, games, teamwork, and creative activities while fostering confidence, responsibility, leadership, and a positive mindset. Classes are hosted at schools in multiple locations around Vista. College students. parents, grandparents, invited to apply.\nSchedule: 3 hours per day, 4-5 days per week, 2:00-5:00 PM, two hours of which is with students, one hour prep and organize time. Employment Type: Part-Time, In person\nPaid training is provided for all programs. We will provide daily curriculum, plans, games and materials for each class.\nStudents are grouped by grade levels with class sizes maximum 20 students to two Yogativity staff working as a team.\nWhat you will be doing: Lead (or assist) with after school instruction for students.\nWhat we are looking for: Experience working with groups of kids\nCollege students, teachers, TAs, retirees, parents, are encouraged to apply\nEffective group management skills\nEnergetic, kind, and patient personality\nPunctual and reliable, with access to a reliable form of transportation\nQualifications Experience & Skills Experience working with youth in an educational, recreational, or after-school setting\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\nHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nComfortable leading groups of students and managing classroom behavior\nEducation Candidates must meet one of the following:\nBachelor’s degree or working on one (Education or related field preferred)\nTwo years of college or equivalent coursework credits.\nAbility to pass a company instructional assessment\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to actively engage in both indoor and outdoor program settings. Responsibilities may include:\nStanding, walking, and moving throughout program spaces\nLifting and carting materials such as yoga mats in a rolling cart (up to 20 lbs)\nSupervising students in active, sometimes high-energy environments\nManaging occasional interruptions and dynamic situations\nWhat your schedule will look like: Monday through Friday afternoons in person at school sites, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, (3 hours) which includes daily prep time.\nAbout Yogativity Yogativity is a California based organization dedicated to helping kids grow through movement, play, and purposeful learning.
