This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing a wide range of emergent and life-threatening conditions.\n\nJob Function:\nShift: 3x12\nRotating shifts: Days / Evenings / Nights\n7:00 AM – 7:00 PM\n11:00 AM – 11:00 PM\n7:00 PM – 7:00 AM\n36 hours per week\nProvide emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups\nPerform rapid assessments and prioritize care based on acuity\nAdminister medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions\nMonitor cardiac rhythms and perform EKGs\nAssist with procedures including splinting and point-of-care testing\nEducate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC ASAP\nCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\nFloat to other units as needed\n\nJob Requirements:\nActive RN license required\nMinimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required\nBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)\nNRP and TNCC certifications strongly preferred\nExperience with EPIC ASAP EMR preferred\nStrong ED skill set including IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, and patient assessment\nAbility to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment\nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
