Once the training period is complete, the employees hired for the second shift will transition to their regular second-shift schedule.\n\nJob Summary:\n\nSafely and efficiently Pack Stamped and ensure only Quality parts are being packed off the press line and learning from the Press Operator. The primary focus is Safety, Quality, and efficient production techniques by utilizing Array's standards and procedures. Maintaining a continuous Improvement attitude with a willingness to adopt new ideas/skills.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities:\n\n5-S as a PRIORITY - Keep station clean and orderly.\nPack stampings in designated containers, with the correct quantity,\nAssist in Changeover & Set-up of stamping dies and presses.\nVisual audit inspection of parts for quality before packing.\nEnsure the correct parts are being packed.\nFollow Containment procedures in the event of contaminated product.\nProduction tagging/labeling to maintain inventory accuracies.\nEscalate problems according to the escalation procedure.\nAssist in coil changes.\nReport on all Quality, Production or Safety problems to the production supervisor.\nPerform & maintain 5-S Standards in area of responsibility.\nAssist in Performing Preventive Maintenance activities as required.\nWrite & follow up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned area.\nSuggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan & Performance Award Program).\nAvailable for overtime as required.\nOperate the Crane to assist in Coil Changes.\nOperator Forklift to assist in material handling as necessary.\n\nQualifications:\n\nPrefer 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment.\nHigh school diploma or GED – Minimum.\nDemonstrated basic math skills.\nDemonstrated ability to read and understand English.\nAbility to read & interpret blueprints.\nAssist in conducting basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required.\nAbility to use measurement instruments: calipers, micrometers, gauging, etc.\nAccountable - Teachable – Approachable.\nAbility to learn, make decisions, and be creative & flexible.\nAbility to solve problems.\nCapable of lifting 50 pounds.\n\nTraining Requirements:\n\nNew Hire Orientation\nPMA Press Training\nISO 9001\nTPM\nQDC / SMED Training\n5's\nAvailable for on & off-site Training as deemed appropriate.\nCrane Operation\nForklift Operation\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nLifting requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. to 37 inches high.\nVertical Lift requirements: Ability to lift up to 42 lbs. to 52 inches high.\nCarry requirements: Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet.\nWork environment is fast paced, and the noise and temperature levels can vary.\n\nSafety:\n\nIf your role requires the wearing of steel-toed boots, the company will reimburse employees $125 per pair every year.\nIf your role requires the wearing of prescription safety glasses, the company will reimburse employees $200 every two years.\nArray operates under strict guidelines and safety standards.
