With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.\nShift Schedule Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM, 36 hours, paid for 40.\nPosition Summary:\nResponsible for visually and functionally inspecting aircraft parts during all phases of procesing.\nResponsibilities\nPerform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.\nRead and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection\nCalibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using\nInterface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality\nProvide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures\nInitiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators\nConduct internal audits as required\nSuggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system\nPerform other tasks as assigned\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in masking or a related field, preferably in the aerospace industry.\nStrong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.\nAbility to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.\nExport Compliance Requirement\nThis position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies.
