opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong understanding of government contracting regulations, project accounting, and financial management.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process\nOversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management\nPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP\nEnsure compliance with DCAA, FAR, CAS, and government contract requirements\nManage indirect rate calculations, incurred cost submissions, and audit support activities\nPartner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning\nDevelop and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes\nSupervise and mentor accounting staff\nSupport ERP system improvements, implementations, and process optimization initiatives\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance\nCPA preferred\n8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities\nGovernment contracting experience required\nStrong understanding of DCAA compliance, FAR, CAS, and cost accounting principles\nExperience with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, Jamis, NetSuite, or similar platforms\nAdvanced Excel and financial reporting skills\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities\nPreferred Experience\nMid-sized government contractor environment\nIncurred cost submissions and DCAA audits\nMulti-contract and project-based accounting\nM&A
