This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including RD&A, Product Management, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Technical Support, Quality, and Operations.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys shaping strategy, supporting customer success, and translating scientific innovation into commercial value.\nKey responsibilities\nSupport the development and execution of the strategic vision, innovation roadmap, and growth strategy for Kerry’s pharmaceutical portfolio.\nLead long-term product and technology roadmaps for assigned biopharma platforms.\nEvaluate market trends, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.\nSupport strategic business planning through market assessments, partnership evaluations, and M&A opportunity analysis.\nPartner with RD&A teams to prioritize innovation programs and product enhancement initiatives.\nDevelop business cases and commercialization plans for new product development projects.\nGuide innovation pipelines by identifying unmet customer needs and future platform opportunities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate product development and successful market launches.\nServe as the biopharma subject matter expert and technical escalation resource for complex customer and application challenges.\nProvide scientific and technical guidance related to biologics, vaccines, cell and gene therapies (CGT), sterile injectables, and pharmaceutical formulation challenges.\nSupport customer meetings, technical presentations, and strategic discussions as a trusted advisor.\nTranslate complex technical capabilities into clear customer benefits and differentiated value propositions.\nQualifications and skills\nMaster's degree or PhD in Biochemistry. Biotechnology. Pharmaceutical Sciences. Chemical Engineering. Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical development, Drug product development, Biologics, Vaccines, Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT)\nStrong understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including: Biologics, Vaccines, Cell & Gene Therapies, Sterile injectable products\nExperience supporting formulation development, process development, technical applications, or customer-facing scientific activities.\nDemonstrated ability to connect scientific and commercial perspectives to drive business growth.\nStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\nOutstanding communication and presentation skills with diverse technical and commercial audiences.\nExperience with pharmaceutical excipients, stabilizers, buffer systems, cryoprotectants, lyoprotectants, or process materials.\nKnowledge of biologics formulation and stabilization strategies.\n\nThe pay range for this position is $102,400 - $168,250 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
