Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.\nQUALITY ENGINEER\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe Plant Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting quality activities and providing quality leadership at the plant. Collaborate and train team members to use quality methods and tools and support the Plant for improvement initiatives.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport the manufacturing floor.\nLead investigations into quality concerns with cross functional team and validate containment in place as required.\nEnsure corrective actions are implemented and validated for effectiveness.\nVerify appropriate documents are updated.\nMaintain quality documentation and obtain customer approval when required.\nConduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and validate that error proofing on the manufacturing floor is operational.\nResponsible for verification of APQP to floor activities, including identification of new risk in existing production.\nLead short-term quality initiatives to improve Quality KPIs.\nComplete Plant Floor Audits.\nAnalyze the data and implement solutions with cross functional teams to improve results.\nConduct problem solving and communicate with the customer on quality concerns (corrective actions, warranty, customer audits).\nEnsure that all appropriate documentation has been updated.\nParticipate in the Engineering Change process to ensure that standards are updated and validated for all changes.\nDevelop, validate, and verify error proofing implementation in support of process.\nWhen required, participate as a member of launch programs in the plant.\nCreate and validate quality documentation prior to launch of production.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field or 10+ years’ experience; Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred.\nExperience: 3+ years of experience in AIAG APQP processes.\nQuality Certification (CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt, CQA, etc.) desirable.\nTRAVEL:\nTravel Required: minimum\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nSubject matter expert in Quality Tools (8D, 5 Why, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC).\nLead cross functional teams in problem solving.\nProfessional communication with internal and external customers.\nDriven professional with a passion to improve systems and processes.\nStrong working knowledge in PFMEA and Control Plans.\nUnderstanding of IATF 16949 requirements.\nDemonstrated success as a person who solves problems in a manufacturing operation.\nKnowledge about Lean manufacturing methods.\nUnderstanding of Quality Systems.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nHigh level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all team members.\nHigh level computer skills to include Windows applications, Microsoft Word, Excel.\nSense of urgency and an overall customer satisfaction focus.\nBENEFITS:\nBlue Cross Blue Shield Medical\nVSP Vision\n401k Matching\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Time Off\nEmployee Assistance Program\nAdditional Competitive Benefits\nPURPOSE:\nBuilding A Better Everything\nWe build a better culture by putting people before profit, leading for purpose, passion and performance, and creating an environment devoted to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
