This role focuses on designing, managing, and optimizing enterprise data models and architectures to support advanced analytics and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring data is structured, accessible, and aligned with mission objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to mission and business requirementsCollaborate with IT teams, data architects, and stakeholders to define and refine data requirementsTranslate business needs into scalable and efficient data architecturesReview data processing and data management methods to ensure efficiency, integrity, and performanceEstablish and maintain official data definitions, standards, and data lineage documentationSupport database design, implementation, and optimization effortsAssist in developing strategies for data acquisition, storage, archival, and recoveryEnsure data sets and applications function reliably and meet operational needsProvide technical oversight and mentorship to junior developers and data staffTroubleshoot data-related issues and provide system support as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum 10 years of professional experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related disciplinesStrong experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsExperience working with enterprise data environments and large-scale data systemsAbility to translate complex business requirements into technical data solutionsExperience with data governance, data standards, and metadata managementStrong understanding of database design, implementation, and performance optimizationExperience supporting data lifecycle processes including ingestion, storage, archival, and recoveryStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teamsActive Top Secret / SCI clearance
