Program ManagerBlue Marble Communications is seeking a Program Manager to lead multi-functional teams for satellite technology programs. This person will utilize best planning practices and exceptional communication to translate deadlines and customer needs to the engineering team. This position will require the candidate to work on site. The candidate must be a self-starter with great time management skills and very strong attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesInterface between Operations, Engineers, and Purchasing, to identify constraints, and developing production plans that meet customer and business needsManage program timeline, costs, and parametersHead meetings between customers and internal team to review program status of timeline and costsLead program realization to attain timeline and financial targets for both business and customerMitigate risks and anticipate potential complicationsEngage in process improvement projects with interconnecting departments to ensure positive, clear communication of build prioritiesAptitude to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up, anticipate changesServe has primary customer contact for program activitiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree8-15 years experience, preferably in Defense or SpaceHighly self-motivated and proactiveStrong attention to detailExcellent MS Office skillsExcellent communication skills with all levels of the organizationExcellent expository writing and oral presentation skills.Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills, including confidential informationMust be able to meet strict deadlines and manage competing prioritiesMust be a US Person (This position has export control and security-related requirements that mandate attention to the citizenship status of any potential candidate and necessitates that the individual either be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident of the United States, or lawfully admitted into the United States as a refugee or granted asylum by the United States Government.)Blue Marble Communications designs and manufactures high-performance RF, free-space optical, and network communications modules and systems for deployment onboard satellites and other space vehicles.
