As the Press Operator, we need someone to monitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile.\n\nPrimary Objective\nOperates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.\n\nMajor Function and Scope:\nMonitors efficient operation of press equipment.\nInspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.\nPerforms minor adjustments to equipment as needed.\nMonitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.\nFollows standard operating procedures.\nKeeps area safe, clean and organized.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\n\nExperience and Knowledge Required:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience.\n1-year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.\n\nCompetencies:\nGood oral and written communications skills.\nGood record keeping skills.\nGood listening skills.\nAccurate measurement capability.\nAbility to understand and speak basic English.\n\nOther Pertinent Job Information\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
