If you're a CPA who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants real visibility into leadership, this role was built for you.About the RoleAs Assistant Controller, you'll own the day-to-day accounting operations while helping shape the systems and processes that will carry Hyper through its next stage of growth. You'll work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams on everything from close processes and financial reporting to ERP optimization and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role where operational rigor and strategic thinking go hand in hand.ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AR, AP, fixed assets, inventory, leases, and debt in accordance with U.S. GAAPOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including timelines, checklists, and preliminary financial statement reviewEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the ERP system (NetSuite)Partner with external auditors and manage audit readiness, including timely and complete responsesSupervise and develop accounting team members, including workload management, performance feedback, and coachingCollaborate with operations and supply chain teams on inventory, costing, and manufacturing-related financial matters Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reportingDrive process improvements and automation to enhance scalability and efficiencyServe as a key user of NetSuite, supporting transaction review, troubleshooting, and reportingPartner cross-functionally to improve data accuracy and ERP utilizationSupport system implementations, upgrades, and enhancementsAssist in hiring, training, and developing accounting personnel What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-DayReviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportsManaging close timelines and ensuring deadlines are metSupporting and reviewing work from AR, AP, and accounting staffTroubleshooting ERP issues and validating financial dataCollaborating with operations on inventory and cost-related questionsIdentifying process gaps and recommending improvements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceActive CPA license6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience2+ years of experience leading or supervising accounting teamsExperience in manufacturing environments, including cost accountingStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred SkillsExperience working with NetSuite ERPExperience in high-growth or scaling organizationsExperience leading ERP implementations or automation initiativesExperience in companies with $500M+ in revenueWhy Hyper?Hyper Solutions is a rapidly growing organization where finance plays a critical role in enabling scale, visibility, and operational efficiency.
