Once Upon a Child is a locally owned resale store that has been a part of the community for over 11 years! We pride ourselves on providing a sustainable and affordable option for local families to recycle their kids stuff!
Position is fast-paced and requires a multi tasker, creative person, and good communicator and someone who loves staying busy and leading a team.
Responsibilities include knowing store operations and inventory and understanding store buying and selling standards.
Key holder will work with management and owner to lead and support all activities in the store to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Must perform unsurpassed service culture, loss prevention compliance, visual merchandising, money management, buying product, lead and train team members.
Looking for dynamic leader, who can multi-task, have strong background in relationship building, with both representing the store in the community and with our internal guests.

Prefer background in retail, leadership and management, experience with point of sale system, inventory management, and supervising a team.
Hours for position must be 20-40 hours a week, with some flexibility in schedule as long as job duties are being performed and maintained.
Position allows for a lot of creativity, team building skills, and leadership. This position will give the right person a great deal of experience and growth potential.
Responsibilities
Lead daily store operations, including managing staff schedules, overseeing sales activities, and ensuring smooth shift transitions.
Supervise team members in retail sales, customer service, inventory management, and cashiering to meet performance targets.
Implement effective merchandising strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and enhance store appearance
Foster a positive team environment through strong communication skills, leadership development, and supervising experience.
Must be able to lift upto 40 pounds
Experience
Proven management experience in retail store environments with a focus on retail management and shift management.
Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee supervision.
Experience with POS systems, retail math, sales management, merchandising, and inventory management tools.
Strong organizational skills combined with time management expertise to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 – 38.0 per week
