Duties Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed history taking to support accurate diagnoses. Assist healthcare providers with procedures such as venipuncture, medication administration. Manage emergency situations by applying critical care techniques, triage protocols, and Level I or Level II trauma center procedures. Handle medical documentation accurately using appropriate medical terminology and physiology knowledge; document procedures, assessments, and treatment plans thoroughly. Administer injections and perform basic life support (BLS) to stabilize patients in urgent or critical conditions. Operate DME (Durable Medical Equipment), assist with transport logistics including critical care transport, and ensure compliance with safety standards such as heavy lifting protocols. Skills Proven experience in critical care settings, hospital environments, or emergency medicine with a focus on patient safety and rapid response. Strong background in triage processes within Level I or Level II trauma centers; familiarity with air ambulance or critical care transport is a plus. Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and emergency procedures to perform thorough patient assessments. Skilled in medication administration, venipuncture, and physical examinations under pressure. Prolonged periods of standing or walking; adept at working in fast-paced environments requiring quick decision-making.
