Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Hoover, AL at a skilled nursing facility. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, function, and safety under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with assignment details.Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.Active Alabama PTA license required to start the assignment.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute care preferred.Ability to implement restorative and mobility programs, perform transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise.Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records. Experience with SNF-focused documentation systems preferred.Client requires availability for Monday-Friday schedule with one weekend rotation per month.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.Shift days: M-F, with 1 weekend rotation per month.Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.Assignment length: 13 weeks.Location HighlightsHoover, AL offers suburban living with easy access to outdoor and urban amenities.
