Job Title: Project Application EngineerLocation: Detroit MI, Dayton TX, Louisville KYEmployment Type: Full-time (on-site)About the jobWe are seeking a proactive and responsible Project Application Engineer to join our growing team. This role is primarily focused on AGV project implementation, including on-site deployment, installation, debugging, troubleshooting, customer training, after-sales repair, and maintenance support. The Project Application Engineer will support AGV project execution at customer sites, track operational status, communicate technical issues with customers and internal teams, and help ensure projects are delivered smoothly and reliably. Please note that this position is open in all the cities listed above.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.Familiar with CAD, SolidWorks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office or engineering software.Responsible, and willing to learn, with a strong ability to handle new technical concepts quickly and contribute in a hands-on, collaborative environment.Customer-service oriented and able to travel based on project needs.Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.Essential RequirementsAbility to travel to or commute between client’s project locations as neededWillingness to support on-site AGV deployment, debugging, troubleshooting, and customer training.Ability to track, record, summarize, and report project status regularly to the project manager.Strong sense of responsibility in project documentation, customer communication, and technical issue follow-up.Ability to support after-sales repair, maintenance, and field service activities.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the electrical automation industry or FAE-related work.Experience in AGV, AGF, forklift, or industrial vehicle maintenance is preferred.Hands-on experience with project implementation, equipment debugging, or customer-site technical support is preferred.About VisionNav® Robotics USAHeadquarters in Atlanta, VisionNav® Robotics is a global leader in autonomous industrial vehicles (AMRs/AGVs) and logistics automation solutions. At VisionNav, we are committed to helping customers build safer, smarter, and more efficient operations through advanced automation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport AGV on-site deployment, installation, debugging, troubleshooting, and customer training for overseas or U.S. projects.Track, record, and summarize AGV operational status during project implementation, and regularly report project progress to the project manager.Prepare, organize, and maintain project-related documentation.Support after-sales repair, maintenance, and field service activities for AGV projects.Develop and follow up on project schedule plans, communicate with customers, and coordinate technical issue resolution during project execution.Collect customer feedback and project requirements in a timely manner to support continuous improvement of project delivery and customer service quality.Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to improve project management efficiency and service level.Complete other tasks assigned by the manager.U.S. BenefitsMedical insurance, 401(k), PTO.
