Compression Operators perform tasks such as trimming and machine operation to ensure product quality meets customer specifications. Operate compression molding machines to mold and form specified shapes. May be assigned to other areas in the facility as needed to assist in the overall production efforts of the facility. All employees are expected to work as a team, maintain work areas and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations to include 5S requirements.\nWork Experience Requirements:\nPrevious manufacturing experience preferred.\nPosition Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred.\nAbility to communicate and follow instructions, verbal and in writing.\nCapable of using both hands simultaneously to perform required functions of position.\nTeam player with a “team first” mentality.\nAptitudes:\nAbility to read and understand basic measurements and complete product checklists.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical computations (addition, subtraction).\nAbility to use calipers, micrometers, and various measuring apparatus to verify quality standards.\nAble to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts.\nPhysical Demands:\nProlonged periods of standing.\nMust be able to occasionally lift 40 lbs.\nAbility to withstand a variety of operating conditions.\nFull-time, benefits eligible\n1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) – starting at $17.48/hour\n2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) – starting at $18.48/hour\n3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) – starting at $19.48/hour\nFinal candidates will be required to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screen prior to employment.\nWe allow walk-in applications!
