Job Description
Hanson, an integrated marketing agency focused on technology-enabled solutions, is seeking an Account Coordinator to support our Account Management team and growing roster of clients.This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and eager to grow within a fast-paced agency environment. The Account Coordinator will help support the successful execution of primarily creative and digital marketing-focused projects through project coordination, schedule management, internal communication, financial tracking and day-to-day client support.Working closely with Account Directors and other senior team members, this role will help ensure projects are set up for success, internal processes are followed, and teams have the information they need to deliver quality work efficiently and effectively.The position includes a mix of ongoing responsibilities and ad hoc support across multiple accounts and initiatives. While prior agency experience is helpful, candidates do not need deep expertise in creative, branding, digital or web development disciplines to succeed in this role. We're looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative, eager to learn, and comfortable balancing structured processes with changing priorities.The Account Coordinator is part of Hanson's Account Management team and reports to an Account Director.Responsibilities & ExpectationsSupport the daily and weekly operational needs of the Account Management team through project setup, schedule management, resource coordination, status reporting and financial trackingCoordinate primarily creative and digital marketing-focused projects, helping ensure timelines, deliverables and internal workflows stay on track (e.g., campaign development, content creation, brand initiatives, marketing collateral, and other integrated marketing efforts)Independently manage smaller-scale projects or project phases with guidance from senior account team membersDevelop and maintain key project documentation, including assignment inputs, timelines, meeting recaps, conference reports and delivery materialsSupport the development of Statements of Work, proposals, estimates and change orders with strong attention to detail and business-writing skillsContribute to project kickoffs, internal reviews and other team coordination meetings as neededManage the timely preparation and delivery of client invoices while helping maintain accurate project forecasting and financial trackingBuild effective working relationships with account leads, cross-functional team members and client contactsTranslate client requests and meeting discussions into clear, actionable direction for internal teamsProactively communicate project risks, timeline concerns and support needs to appropriate team membersParticipate actively in team discussions, project planning sessions and department initiativesContribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers and identifying opportunities for process improvementDemonstrate strong potential to grow into broader client relationship and account management responsibilities over timeExperience & QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with a demonstrated interest in marketing, client services, project coordination, or agency operations. Prior experience in an agency, client-facing, marketing, or project support role is preferred but not required.Proficiency in common office applications/software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Drive)Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and service-oriented attitudeProactive problem-solver who works well under pressureSuperior organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadline-sensitive projectsComfortable giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative, professional environmentWhat we offerHybrid work environment (primarily remote; candidates must reside in the Columbus, OH area and be available for in-person collaboration 1–2 times per week.
