We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\n\nJob Summary:\n\nSupermicro is seeking a talented Software QA Engineer with great attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability to join our software team.You will be responsible for examining all aspects of the products/applications, performing tests.If you are a forward-thinking engineer who can bring software quality improvement ideas and new strategies to lead the company forward, we would love to talk to you.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\n\nExecute software automation.\nPerform IPMI, Redfish, BIOS, and software tools validation.\nPerform software user interface, functional, and stress tests.\nProvide feedback to the design team to improve product quality.\nUtilize analytical skills to validate and verify software/system issues.\nCreate detailed evaluation test reports.Perform ad-hoc testing on OEM systems.\nEnforce software quality control standards.\nParticipate in issue review sessions with cross-functional teams including PMs, FAEs, service teams, and customers.\nEnsure continuous testing coverage for top-priority projects through global team collaboration.\nMaintain the standards set by the company.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n2- 4 years of software quality assurance experience is required.\nFamiliarity with SQA requirements and methodologies.\nAbility to adapt quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment.\nCreative thinker with a strong passion for quality.\nExperience with shell scripting and Python is a plus.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nSalary Range\n\n$100,000 - $120,000\n\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
