Based in Greer, South Carolina, the role involves ownership of the back winding processes that support downstream production. The successful candidate will work closely with machine operators, technicians, and supervisors in a team-based environment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.\nJob Responsibilities\nSet up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor maintenance on back winding equipment used in weatherstripping manufacturing.\nMonitor production flow and adjust to changing production and inventory needs.\nEnsure equipment efficiency meets production and quality standards.\nTrack yarn usage, scrap rates, uptime, and package delivery.\nMonitor production to standard work and report findings.\nIdentify improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, and efficiency.\nCommunicate regularly with supervisors, team leaders, and operators.\nMaintain accurate documentation and basic computer records.\nFollow and promote safe work practices.\nQualifications\nTextile, yarn, winding, or similar manufacturing experience strongly desired.\nMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nBasic computer skills.\nAbility to work independently while supporting a team environment.\nPhysical ability to stand, reach, and perform hands-on machine work throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift up to 45 lbs.\nComfortable working in a louder production environment.\nCompensation and Benefits\nPay rate: $18/hour\nWorking hours:\n3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm - 7 am\nAfter meeting the qualification requirements, employees are offered through Landrum: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance and matching 401k.\nBy applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Landrum and its affiliates and contracted partners.
