The Project Superintendent provides hands-on leadership in the field, ensuring each project is delivered safely, within budget, and to the company’s high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role represents LHM Construction’s values and commitment to quality through daily coordination, proactive problem-solving, and consistent communication with project teams and clients. The Project Superintendent plays a critical role in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and client expectations while representing the company’s culture of excellence and integrity on site.\nPrimary Duties:\nOversee all day-to-day field activities including site preparation, building construction, and installation of specialty systems (AV, sound, projection, bowling, F&B, and amusement equipment).\nDevelop, update, and maintain the master construction schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager; identify and mitigate schedule risks proactively.\nEnforce the company’s safety program and OSHA compliance; ensure that all trades adhere to safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized site.\nMonitor construction methods and workmanship to ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and industry standards.\nLead daily and weekly coordination meetings; manage subcontractor sequencing and resolve conflicts swiftly to maintain progress.\nTrack labor, equipment, and materials; identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.\nServe as the primary on-site contact with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors; maintain professional relationships and transparent communication.\nMaintain daily reports, photos, as-built drawings, RFIs, and field logs; assist in punch list and closeout process.\nCoordinate installation and testing of complex systems (HVAC, MEP, lighting controls, fire suppression, acoustics, projection, sound, and special finishes).\nLead final inspections, ensure deficiencies are corrected, and deliver a seamless turnover to operations.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nExperience & Skills:\nExperience managing projects $10M+ with complex MEP or specialty systems preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in construction management (preferred).\nAt least ten years of proven experience in mixed-use construction management, with a focus on leadership.\nProficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project (or Primavera), and other construction management software.\nExtensive knowledge of established construction and maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques as well as applicable local, state and federal building codes.\nMust have strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication while working in a team environment.\nLead proactively rather than manage reactively.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs in/around St. George Megaplex Cinema Entertainment Center construction site and other properties.\nThis position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (to include but limited to, rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet), around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulates.\nMust have the ability to read and comprehend large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 60 lbs. independently.\nRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about office setting.\nTo perform other duties as required.\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.\nManage Complexity: Make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively analyze situations and identify solutions.\nCollaborates: Builds partnerships and works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.\nPlans and Aligns: Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational needs and goals.
