Note that this is NOT a software test position, and applicants with purely software testing experience will NOT be considered.\n\nResponsibilities will include:\n\nValidation and compliance testing of new and customized products\n\nSupport analysis of product failure in complex cases\n\nPerform experiments to support new product development\n\nRecommend improvements to product designs\n\nDevelop testing plans and methods for flow instrumentation\n\nDesign and build test stands and equipment, such as wiring up the I/Os on a NI DAQ\n\nProgramming/DAQ experience, such as create a basic LabView program for logging data\n\nWork with outside specialty test laboratories, as necessary\n\nDocument test results in accordance with our ISO-9001 & ISO 17025 procedures\n\nSchedule & track progress with project management software, such as TeamGantt.\n\nYou will have:\n\nAt least five years of hardware product test or related experience in a manufacturing environment\n\nBroad familiarity with mechanical, electronic and firmware concepts\n\nA four-year mechanical engineering degree\n\nKnowledge of statistical methods to analyze and interpret experimental results\n\nExperience with liquid flow or related instrumentation is a plus\n\nGood written and oral command of English\n\nProteus offers stable employment with a full benefit package including medical and dental insurance, a 401k plan and profit sharing.
