This role focuses on migrating legacy monitoring platforms to Datadog, enabling full-stack observability, and implementing AI-driven alerting and automation. The consultant will work closely with customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready monitoring solutions\nContract: 6 Months\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and implement Datadog-based observability solutions across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments\nLead migration from legacy monitoring platforms (e.g., LogicMonitor) to Datadog\nDeploy and configure Datadog agents across distributed environments (Linux, Windows, cloud)\nBuild dashboards, monitors, alerts, and service maps aligned to business and technical KPIs\nImplement log ingestion pipelines, APM tracing, and metrics correlation\nConfigure Datadog Watchdog for anomaly detection and AI-driven alerting\nEnable serverless and database monitoring (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, SQL/NoSQL systems)\nDevelop Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) for repeatable observability deployment\nImplement security best practices including PII masking and access controls\nCollaborate with customer teams to define SLOs, SLIs, and alerting strategies\nProvide documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handoff\n\nQualifications:\nStrong hands-on Datadog experience (APM, logs, metrics, dashboards)\nExperience migrating from other monitoring platforms (e.g., LogicMonitor)\nProficiency in observability concepts (traces, metrics, logs, alerting)\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)\nGIT and CI/CD experience (Github, GitHub Actions)\nExperience with serverless and database observability\nStrong troubleshooting across distributed systems\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills\n\nPreferred:\nDatadog certifications (Associate or Professional)\nExperience with AI-driven observability (Watchdog)\nExperience in regulated environments (healthcare, finance)\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\n\nTechnologies you will work with:\nDatadog (APM, Logs, Metrics, Watchdog)\nTerraform (IaC)\nCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nScripting (Python, Bash)\nCI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps)\nMonitoring & logging ecosystems\n\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where they reside.
