Tasks include querying data, manipulating data, generating reports, etc.\nWork with end users to define business requirements for new projects as well as supporting existing processes.\nAnalyze data and solve new and existing business issues.\nWork concurrently on multiple projects and tasks across different business units.\n\nMINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)\nThree years of development experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company\nExtensive inventory and supply chain development experience is required\nLeadership skills to navigate project execution through all phases of the standard software development lifecycle\nExperience with one or more front-end technologies such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JSP and JavaScript\nProficient with one or more programming languages/protocols: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML/XSL and RPG\nFamiliar with multi-threaded applications, test driven development, advanced profiling and debugging\nExperience with Agile development methodology is a plus\nDemonstrated proficiency with one or more technology environments and the ability to readily learn and apply new and emerging concepts\nExcellent communication, problem solving and data analysis skills\nExperience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2 or AS400/IBM iSeries\nExcellent decision making skills\nHigh level of customer service\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)\nOccasional travel may be required including air and car travel\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.\n\nPHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS\nSedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.\n\nNOTE: All duties and responsibilities listed are considered to be essential job functions and requirements, and are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
