Candidates are not expected to have experience in all areas.Process Engineer - Machining & WindingThis role supports manufacturing processes related to machining operations and specialized winding processes used in MRI production.Preferred experience:CNC or NC machiningFiberglass or filament-wound composite materialsManufacturing process development and troubleshootingTooling or fixture developmentProcess Engineer - Magnet AssemblyThis role supports assembly processes used in the production of MRI magnet systems and associated components.Preferred experience:Soldering, joining, or assembly processesElectrical or electromechanical manufacturing environmentsSolid-state electrical componentsManufacturing process improvement and quality initiativesProcess Engineer - Cryostat & Helium Vessel ManufacturingThis role supports fabrication and assembly processes used to manufacture large welded structures and cryogenic vessel systems.Preferred experience:Welding processesSteel and/or aluminum fabricationTanks, pressure vessels, or large welded assembliesFabrication and manufacturing process optimizationRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or another related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.Experience supporting manufacturing, production, engineering, or process improvement activities through professional work experience, internships, cooperative education programs, research, or academic projects.Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environment.Experience supporting production processes, equipment, tooling, or process improvement with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or problem-solving methodologies.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Experience supporting new product introductions or manufacturing process development.Why Join Our Florence Team?The Florence site offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced MRI manufacturing in a collaborative environment where engineers have direct visibility to products, processes, and business outcomes.
