3rd Shift Filling & Visual Inspection Technician GMP / Aseptic Processing | Fremont, CA | 6-Month ContractLocation: Fremont, CA (Onsite) Shift: 3rd Shift Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM 6:30 AM Pay: Competitive + 15% Shift Differential Duration: 6-Month ContractJob OverviewSigma Inc. is hiring a 3rd Shift Filling & Visual Inspection Technician for a leading life sciences / pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with GMP production and aseptic processing experience who thrive in cleanroom environments and are comfortable working overnight shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform aseptic filling, sterile filtration, and visual inspection of productsPrepare and maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and calculationsOperate and troubleshoot production equipment including:Sterilizers, capping & stoppering machinesBottle washers, sterilizing tunnels, filtration systemsVision systems, inkjets, and packaging equipmentFollow and maintain compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety regulationsPerform cleanroom gowning and maintain sterile environmentsConduct environmental monitoring (air sampling, settling plates, etc.)Prepare disinfectants and sanitize production areas and equipmentAssist with media fills (process simulation testing)Support training of team members and continuous process improvementsSafely handle and dispose of hazardous materialsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent2+ years of GMP production experienceHands-on experience in aseptic processing / sterile fillingStrong knowledge of:cGMP, SOPs, MSDS, OSHA safety standardsDocumentation practices and batch recordsCleanroom operations and aseptic techniquesExperience with:Deviation management & document revisionProduction coordination / schedulingAbility to:Work in a cleanroom environment and wear PPE/respiratorPerform sterile filtration and filter integrity testingUse computer systems for data entry and documentationStrong teamwork and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with environmental monitoring and QC samplingFamiliarity with BPE methods and traffic patterns in cleanroomsKnowledge of federal and international regulatory standards (FDA, EPA, DOT, USDA)Experience training or mentoring team members
